Your image gets printed onto one of our premium canvases and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5" x 1.5" stretcher bars (gallery wrap) or 5/8" x 5/8" stretcher bars (museum wrap). While living in NYC for 25 years, I thoroughly explored the galleries and Museums there. I’d always wanted to be able to create abstract images in the astonishing variety of styles I saw during this time, which would normally would require several lifetimes to achieve. I developed a technique I call Photo/Painting Alchemy. Walking around in daily life with a camera, I look for interesting compositions in my surroundings. Careful framing and photographing these results in an abstract image. Without modifying these compositions I change some, all, or none of the colors digitally only within the already existing areas of light, dark and tonality.
